The Department of Logistics at the Faculty of Business Administration Has Successfully Realised the First Blended Intensive Programme

The Blended Intensive Programme is a new feature of the Erasmus+ programme. It is an international short-term intensive course with innovative teaching methods that combines physical and virtual activities. The institution is involved either in the role of coordinator (i.e. designing and coordinating the programme) or in the role of participant (sending participants to a programme provided by the coordinating institution) of the programme.

The course entitled Exploring Firms Sustainability Practices across the EU: Challenges and Solutions was developed within the framework of the subject Sustainable Supply Chain. Students from IAE Lille (France), Universidad de Granada (Spain) and Prague University of Economics and Business (Czech Republic) participated in the course. FBA VŠE was involved in the role of coordinator.

The students had the opportunity to carry out a project in their home countries analysing sustainable practices and then compare the multiple sustainable project case studie across the countires. Then, here in Prague, teams of students from the three institutions established multi-national teams developed a project on the sustainable supply chain practices of a Czech brewery logistic system.
