The International Advisory Board Met at the FBA at the End of February

The International Advisory Board (IAB) is an international advisory body of the faculty consisting of representatives of major universities abroad, whose aim is to share know-how in the field of business school management and curriculum development, and the meeting is held twice a year.

The IAB meeting was held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the FBA. On behalf of FBA, the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Hnilica, Vice-Dean for Education Dr. Lorencová, Vice-Dean for Research and Doctoral Studies assoc. prof. Hudík, Vice-Dean for Communication and Corporate Relations assoc. prof. Stříteský, Executive Director of the Executive MBA programme Ing. Opleštil and Ing. Kopkáně. Among the representatives of the management of foreign universities there were:

• Prof. Konstantin Krotov, Academic Dean, SKEMA Business School
• Prof. Anthony Brabazon, College Principal and Dean of UCD College of Business
• Prof. Jorg Bley, Dean, International Business School Suzhou
• Prof. Reto Steiner, Dean, ZHAW School of Management and Law

The main topics of discussion were career paths and career schedules of academic staff, including performance evaluation and career development planning. It is clear that the success of our staff is inextricably linked to the success of the whole school and that the performance of our staff, whose results contribute to the prestige of the school, is also closely linked to their job satisfaction.
