Management summary Research study „Non-family members and conflict processes in family firms: a systematic review of literature

The study addresses the role of non-family employees in conflict processes in family firms. Based on a systematic review of literature, the authors summarize the conclusions of 57 studies, classify the antecedents and outcomes of conflicts and conflict resolution methods. Non-family employees are involved in various conflict types and their role can be both negative (they contribute to the emergence of conflicts) and positive (they help attenuate conflicts among family members).
