Management summary research study „A pilot study of verification of methods for research of adequacy of funding of employers of disabled from the budget of the Czech Republic. “

The study focused on pilot research that will focus on the adequacy of funding for different types of employers of people with disabilities (ZZP). ZZPs are a heterogeneous group of organisations (business firms, cooperatives and non-profit organisations all employing people with varying degrees of disability are represented), and the aim of the research is to develop a typology of ZZPs. The pilot research focused on a small sample of 23 organisations on which two methods were tested: cluster analysis and principal component analysis (PCR). The results showed the potential usefulness of cluster analysis and the limited usefulness of PCR. PCR could only be used when the number of comparative parameters of ZZPs would be limited. The funder, the Association of Employers of the Disabled (AZZP), aims that the whole research will provide a basis for legislative change on the funding of different types of ZZPs. However, in order to be able to propose differential funding, ZZPs need to be categorised according to adequate types.
