How was this year’s CEMS Annual Events in London? FBA VSE brought two awards to Prague, see video and photos

As in other years, the CEMS Alliance ended the year with the CEMS Annual Events. This year’s edition was hosted between 6 and 10 December by the London School of Economics (LSE). The highlight of the several-day event is traditionally the graduation of CEMS students, who came to London from all member schools with over 860 participants. Representatives from universities and corporate partners also received awards for the activities in which member schools compete each year.

The delegation from the University of Business and Economics in Prague consisted of over 30 people, in addition to this year’s graduates of the Prague CEMS MIM, the ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations and former Rector of the University of Business and Economics Hana Machková, CEMS Corporate Relations Manager Šárka Otčenášková and Academic Director of CEMS Prague Ladislav Tyll, who together with Martin Mara from Škoda Auto received the prestigious award Best Business Project of the Year 2023.

This is another key moment for CEMS from the Faculty of Business Administration, which demonstrates the high quality of the programme. It won this prize also in 2021. Watch the recording of this year’s award ceremony (time 0:47:30).

However, this was not the only award the delegation brought back to Prague. CEMS Club Prague was named the Best CEMS Club of the Winter Semester 2022/23! The award was received by Evžen Balomenos who was presiding over the club at the time (time of the recording 0:43:20).

At the end of the ceremony our graduates received their well-deserved diplomas (time 1:19:20). Congratulations and we look forward to seeing more successes of the students and CEMS from the Faculty of Business Administration at the next CEMS Annual Events, which will take place in Bergen, Norway in 2024, and in 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil.
