FBA MBA students ranked first in the national round of The European Ethics Bowl

Under the auspices of the FBA, the second year of the national round of The European Ethics Bowl (EEB) competition took place at the end of April, in which teams argued their solution of a short case study based on an ethical dilemma on the topic “Standardization of the (business) world”. Teams also submitted a 3-5 minute video arguing their solution to the case study. Then they debated online in front of the panel and other teams.

 

Teams consisting of undergraduate, graduate, Ph.D. and MBA students from FBA, FE and FIS entered the competition. The first three places were taken by following teams:

First place Team 4 (VŠE Knights)

Second place Team 1 (Pavlík´s Army)

  • David Vašíček (FBA)
  • Jiří Korčák (FIS)

Third place Team 5

  • Ladislav Pašek (MBA FBA)
  • Mladen Simeonov (MBA FBA)

 

Congratulations and fingers crossed for the winning team in the semi-finals, which will be held in Slovenia at the prestigious School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. The finals of the competition will take place at the European Investment Bank headquarters in Luxembourg.
