CEMS Lands 11th in QS 2024 MiM Ranking

The prestigious CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education, has been ranked 11th out of 201 programmes in the QS Masters in Management ranking 2024. Placing in the top 5.5% of Masters in Management (MiM) providers globally, the Programme moved one place higher compared to last year, scoring consistently higher than the global average across all indicator groups.

Its local chapter, MIM/CEMS VSE, is taught in English at the Faculty of Business Administration and is designed for students with interest in the international business environment who deliver outstanding academic performance.

QS evaluated five basic criteriaemployability, alumni outcomes, value for money, thought leadership and diversity. In particular, CEMS has been recognized for high levels of diversity, thought leadership, employability and alumni outcomes. The MIM performed particularly strongly in the value for money indicator group scoring an impressive 96.8 out of 100; the global average was 61.7. The QS ranking backs up our latest official statistics, which show that 96% of CEMS recent graduates are employed or continuing their studies six months after graduation, with 75% working for multinational companies.

Nicole de Fontaines, Executive Director of CEMS, commented:

We’re delighted that the CEMS Alliance MIM continues to rise up the QS rankings. The ranking recognises that our unique Alliance of business schools and corporate partners offers students excellent value for money.

“CEMS schools are linked by a quality assurance system, and students follow a jointly defined curriculum, including working on consultancy projects and completing internships at corporate partners.

Our members work together to educate the next generation of responsible business leaders.  This unique alliance ensures the top quality of the CEMS student experience and exceptional employability of our graduates.

Key features of the CEMS MIM program at VSE in Prague

What really tips the scales are a high level of teaching, where the program is not only constantly benchmarked by the CEMS alliance, close cooperation with selected corporate partners such as Hilti, Škoda Auto or Plzeňský Prazdroj, but also international exposure because students must complete an internship abroad and spend one semester at a selected foreign university from the CEMS alliance, which currently consists of 33 top world universities and more than 70 corporate partners. Having done their studies in English, the graduates then easily land jobs with foreign companies and, over the course of 3 years after their studies, draw average salaries in the neighbourhood of over 150,000 CZK a month.
