Take part in the European Ethics Bowl
Are you interested in what’s going on around you? Do you enjoy ethics? Share your perspective on current ethical dilemmas and compete against your peers from over Europe.
Students of the Prague University of Economics and Business have a unique opportunity to participate in the European Ethics Bowl (EEB), a competition under the auspices of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). Bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and MBA students from all over the Prague University of Economics and Business can apply, but the condition is that at least one member of the team of three must be from FBA.

It is allowed to sign up as an individual if you do not have other team members. Individuals then will be randomly assigned to the team if the condition of 3 members and at least one team member from FBA is met. We recommend you to try to build a team yourself, as we cannot guarantee that you will be paired.
Sign up as an individual
You can sign up until 20 April 2022 23:59 or until capacity is reached. Maximum capacity is 15 teams (45 students).
How does it work?
- National round: After registration, teams of three compete at the institutional level (one team will go to quarterfinal)
- Quarterfinals: Online competition of the first teams from all over Europe, May 17.
- Semi-finals: competition among the 9 winning teams from the quarter-finals in Ljubljana, November 2022 (travel expenses will be covered by the faculty)
- Finals: Three finalists compete against each other at the European Investment Bank headquarters in Luxembourg, 9 December 2022 (travel expenses will be covered by the faculty)
In the national round, all teams argument a short case study based on an ethical dilemma. This year’s topic is “Standardization of the (business) world”. On 21 April 2022, a short case study will be sent to all duly registered teams. It will be a dilemma (it has no correct solution), so argumentation will be essential. Subsequently, by 28 April, the teams will submit a 3-5 minute video where they will explain their solution of the case study. The national round of the competition will be held online on April 30, 2022. More information will be sent to the teams by the organizers after registration.
