New study programme at FBA: MSc in Sustainability management

The first MSc in Sustainability Management programme in Czechia.

We are pleased to introduce you our new master programme – MSc in Sustainability Management.

The aim of the Master’s programme in Sustainability Management is to prepare graduates – university educated experts – to perform managerial functions at middle and higher management levels in the corporate sphere in the positions of Chief Sustainability Officer, CSR Manager, Sustainability Manager, etc.

Alumni profile

Graduates of the Master in Sustainability Management will be able to characterise key concepts, theories and models that link different aspects of global sustainability challenges to the effective management of companies and other organisations. Evaluate the environmental, social and economic impacts of strategic business decisions and design innovative solutions for business operations that are both economically viable and environmentally and socially beneficial. Finally, to develop and maintain an organisational culture based on the values of respect, diversity, inclusion and sustainability.

Programme details

The programme structure is 3 semesters, 100 ECTS and is a professionally oriented Master’s programme without a minor specialisation. The programme is completed by defending a dissertation together with a state examination in one subject. The programme also includes a compulsory internship (30 ECTS), during which students work partly on their dissertation. The language of instruction is English and the tuition fees are 10,000 EUR according to the statutes of the Prague University of Economics and Business. The planned capacity of the programme is 25-30 students per year.
