Faculty of Business Administration and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics signed a double-degree programme agreement
On Friday, August 23, 2019, a meeting of representatives of the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics, Prague, and the Faculty of Management of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics took place in Moscow. The aim of the meeting was to conclude an agreement on a double-degree programme between both institutions.
As for the Faculty of Business Administration, the agreement was signed by Dean Prof. Ivan Nový and Academic Director of International Degree Programmes Ladislav Tyll. From the Plehkanov University Vice-rector for development Dmitry Shtykhno, Head of International Office Leonid Bragin, Dean of the Faculty of Management Maxim Ponomarev and Head of the Department of Theory of Management and Business Technologies Igor Denisov took part in the meeting.
Students who choose the new double Master degree programme will attend carefully chosen courses from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the University of Economics, Prague, and therefore gain the best of both the institutions. After successfully completing their studies they receive two diplomas. Graduates of this programme are able to participate in the execution of economic and managerial functions at mid-management levels in companies and other institutions, where knowledge of business management is necessary.
During the following weekend August 24-25, 2019, the representatives of the Faculty of Business Administration also participated at the Czech Republic Festival in Moscow, where they offered information on education possibilities in Prague.
