Management Summary Research Study “Exploring the Barriers and Drivers of ESG in the German Mittelstand: A Qualitative Analysis of Mechanical and Plant Engineering Companies”

This qualitative study investigates ESG adoption among German Mittelstand mechanical and plant engineering firms through semi-structured interviews with 10 companies. The research identifies key barriers and drivers to ESG implementation, providing crucial insights for businesses in this sector as well as public-policy.
