VŠE Family Business Club on Succession and Siblings Relations /6.6. 2024/

We invite all VŠE students and VŠE graduates from family businesses to the meeting of the VŠE Family Business Club. We will discuss how the next generation perceives the issue of succession. Do business families set conditions under which potential successors can join the company? For example, study results, years worked outside the family business or foreign experience? How do business families deal with the fact that children do not want to be involved in the business? And how do they proceed in the opposite situation, when they have more children and all of them want to join the company?

The meeting of the VŠE Family Business Club entitled “Succession from the perspective of the NextGen: the position of siblings” will take place on Thursday 6 June at the VŠE.

International students of the course „Strategy in Family Businesses“ will also be present at the discussion. The event will therefore be held in English.
