Academic Director Ladislav Tyll Again Re-elected as Deputy Chairman of the CEMS Academic Committee
Yet again, the CEMS VSE Academic Director, Ladislav Tyll, MBA, PhD, has been re-elected as Deputy Chair of the CEMS Academic Committee, making it his third consecutive time as Deputy Chair! The elections take place every two years; this time, the meeting was held in Ithaca at Cornell SC Johnson College of Business during the Academic Committee meeting. The academic director at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Christine Côté, has been re-elected as Chair of the CEMS AC.
Both Ladislav and Christine have been elected in an overwhelming majority, and we cannot but congratulate them both on the result and wish them a successful continuation of their excellent leadership in the upcoming two years of their term.
The CEMS Academic Committee is fully responsible for decision-making and operationalizing the rules for the CEMS Master’s in International Management (MiM) Programme in the frame of the general curriculum and graduation requirements in line with CEMS vision. The responsibility of CEMS AC is also the supervision of the portfolio and the quality of the MiM courses and the setting of appropriate standards. The CEMS Academic Committee has 36 members, 33 academic directors, CEMS Global Office representative, a Programme Manager representative, and a Student Board representative.
