Initiative for the Automotive Supply Chains in Visegrad Group
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County has been successful in winning funding from the Visegrad Funds, to deliver a 2-day (18th and 19th November 2019) event exploring ways to improve the competitiveness and long-term sustainability of the Automotive Supply Chains in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Stakeholders from these countries will discuss the main challenges to the Automotive Supply Chains through structured workshops, producing recommendations on developing support initiatives to transform them into World Class, fit for the 21st Century businesses. The long-term aim is to transform the way in which business is conducted through effective networking and collaboration between Supply Chain SMEs, by moving towards Value Networks (i.e. networks that create value) from cost driven, top down Supply Chain structure.
University of Economics in Prague will serve as the partner from Czech Republic in this initiative and will be represented by Dr Marek Vinš from the Department of Logistics and Dr Efthymia Kottika from the Department of Marketing.
