23. 10. 2019: Research seminar “From attitude to action: Conceptualizing the attitude-behavior gap in sustainable consumption”
Dear colleagues,
The Research Support Centre would like to invite you to a seminar:
Topic: From attitude to action: Conceptualizing the attitude-behavior gap in sustainable consumption
Date: 23rd October, 17:00-18:00 in room RB 438
Speaker: Zara Berberyan (Hamburg School of Business Administration)
Abstract: The talk will focus on the attitude-behavior gap in ethical fashion consumption. The presented research integrates perspectives from psychology and consumer behavior and develops a causal explanatory model based on the theory of planned behavior. Furthermore, it proposes an interdisciplinary framework for empirical measurement consisting of theoretically founded items that can be applied in future empirical studies aimed at better understanding and addressing the attitude-behavior gap in ethical fashion. The new, extended and calibrated model allows for a better theoretical integration of existing knowledge and disciplinary perspectives as well as for higher contextual accuracy of empirical studies in the field of ethical fashion consumption.
Registration: Not required
The seminar will be in English.
Sincerely,
