Dear colleagues,

It is my pleasure to invite you to the next meeting of the Research Club of the Faculty of Business Administration, which will take place on Wednesday 17.2. 12:30 – 14:00 in MS TEAMS. There is no further invitation or link, come straight to MS TEAMS, Research Club FPH. The whole meeting will be held in English.

2. Upcoming Horizon Europe (10 min + Q&As, Dr. Válek).
3. A beginners’ guide to big data and machine learning in business and management research

Lecturer will present main opportunities of big data and machine learning for business and management research on example of inspiring research papers. The fundamental methods of machine learning and its practical use in tackling the recent research challenges will be shown and the lecture will conclude by presenting the working paper on CEO effect on a company which uses textual data – tweets – to infer the personal characteristics of CEOs (50 min + Q&As, Ing. Tkáčik)
