Academic Year 2015/2016 flashbacks

DSC_2984May 2016 – New partner of FBA became Google.

April 2016 – Students of the Arts Management organized for the sixth time multi – genre festival Apríles. This year’s theme was “Žižkov Streets”.

March 2016 – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration awarded five academics for excellent pedagogical activity in 2015. Among the award-winning were doc. PhDr. Ing. Eva Jarošová, Ph.D., Department of Managerial Psychology and Sociology, Mgr. Mario Kubaš, Ph.D., Department of Arts Management, doc. JUDr. Ing. Radek Novák, CSc., Department of Logistics, Ing. Felipe Martínez, Ph.D., Department of Management and Mgr. Marek Novinský, Department of Marketing.

February 2016 – The deadline closed for talented and highly motivated students from all over the world to apply for CEMS/ International Management programme. In total, there were 163 applicants from 33 countries; 80 applicants were selected to the assessment center (2nd stage of the selection process) with 51 applicants being accepted.

January 2016 – MBA programme offered by International School of Business and Management within FBA ranked as third by EDUNIVERSAL Best Master Ranking 2015/2016 in MBA category in Eastern Europe.

December 2015 – FBA has become a partner of the event “Pitch Day Start It Up!” which is a part of the prestigious Business Week. The expert committee was tasked to select the most promising Czech start-up.

November 2015 – The Faculty of Business Administration was ranked by employers as the Best Faculty of Economics in the Czech Republic.

October 2015 – The Department Arts Management concluded the research poject National and Cultural Identity with final conference. The project was dedicated to mapping the specific economic conditions of Czech society in the sector of culture development.

September 2015 – FBA’s programmes placed in the Financial Times Master in Management Ranking 2015, namely CEMS master´s programme ranked as fourth while the Business Economy and Management placed in 72nd position.
