Therefore, the MBA at the Faculty of Business Administration is on par with MBA programs in Western Europe. In addition, FBA has excellent relations with the private sector and works with highly talented students in the Honors Academia program.

Internationalization of Study

Applicants can study programs offered in English and Russian. In addition, classes in foreign languages are mandatory for students of all fields, as well as programs offered in the Czech language.

Many students use the opportunity to participate in exchange programs with the FBA’s partner schools abroad, study at any foreign university as “free mover” or to take part in international summer schools. The CEMS Master in International Management program (CEMS MIM) is the FBA’s key postgraduate, pre-experience degree offered in English.

It is open to a select group of students enrolled in a Master’s program in one of 30 global leading institutions offering postgraduate management studies. The faculty cooperates with such top-class universities such as the University of St. Gallen, London School of Economics and Political Science, Università Bocconi, HEC Paris, ESADE Business School, or the University of Sydney. The exclusiveness of the program is further heightened by the fact that only one business school per country can be a member, and its quality is thoroughly assessed.

Science and Research

The FBA is involved in a variety of research; from basic to applied and contractual research. As a university that puts more emphasis on research in recent years, we require our basic research to be published in economic, business, management, entrepreneurial, and other field-specific journals, with a  arge preference for pubishing in high-quality journals. The FBA’s researchers have recently published in  journals such as Frontiers in Psychology, Regional Studies, Journal of Management Inquiry, or Information Processing & Management. The FBA’s academics are engaged in many Czech and international research projects in the field of management and business. Currently, our activities include projects by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic or the Cultural Pathways to Economic Self- Sufficiency and Entrepreneurship: Family Values and Youth Unemployment in Europe (CUPESSE) project from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Program.
